I had to leave a review about this pillow though! We went to my son's 4 month doctors appointment and our ped confirmed what we already knew...the back of our son's head was really flat. One of downsides to the sleep on your back initiative. She ended up referring us to a physical therapist and said that if PT didn't work, he would likely need a helmet. We left the appointment feeling really helpless and upset because we were doing tons of tummy time and exercises at home to try to keep him off the back of his head but it wasn't enough to combat the amount of time he was in our arms or sleeping on his back. So we went online and started researching and found this pillow. Of course we were terrified to buy it because as a parent you are beaten over the head with, "never ever put anything in the crib with your baby or they will most certainly die of SIDS." So we obsessed over whether to buy this pillow and finally (as our 3 month old's head began to look like a shelf) we decided to buy it, but agreed that if air wasn't free flowing through this pillow when it arrived, we'd just chock it up to a $100 mistake/loss. We also agreed that even if the pillow was made of extremely breathable material, we would only use it when we were awake so we'd be able to keep an eye on him while he slept. The pillow arrived very quickly and when I took it out of the box I was a little shocked by how light and small it was. My initial reaction was, "really, this thing cost $100!?" But thought, "hey, if it's safe for my baby...then it's worth it." I then tried my best to suffocate myself with the pillow and found air to be free flowing. We started using the pillow every time my son was napping during the day and playing on his back. We even used it when he was in his baby bouncer and riding around in his stroller. Within 2 weeks, we noticed a huge difference! We can honestly not say enough good things about this pillow. When we went back for our 6 month doctors appointment, our ped was amazed. She measured his head twice because she could not believe how perfectly round it was. If we ever have another kid, we will totally start using this pillow from the start. Obviously, you have to be safe about what you're putting in the crib with your baby but if you supervise use of this pillow, I think it you will be thrilled with the results! We started using the pillow when he was 3.5 months old (photo on the right), and continue to use it still at 5 months(photo on the left). We had discussed his head shape with our pediatrician, who did not seem too concerned. I work in the medical field with neurosurgeons/neurologists who didn't think it was bad enough to warrant a cranial helmet, but offered other options to help. We tried putting him in the crib so he would turn to the non-affected side (left) to face into the room, rather than the wall. We also would try to prop him slightly to get pressure off the right side of his head. He was so young, and not focusing on objects that those measures didn't really help. He always ended up lying on his preferred right side. He didn't have torticollis and had good head and neck control early for his age. I found this pillow after searching the internet for options. The first 2 nights we used the pillow, I was anxious about the pillow being in his bed. It is a breathable pillow, but still...mom worry. I will say that he has wiggled off of the pillow several times, but never ended up face down in it. I think he actually likes the pillow, it has to be softer than the hard crib mattress! Even when he lies on his right side, I think the cushion and shape of the pillow cradles his head, preventing pressure points. We are absolutely amazed at the improvement he has had! I know there are several factors that allow the head to smooth out naturally (tummy time, more head/neck control, supported sitting), but if you are concerned about cosmetic appearance as your child grows, $110 is reasonable for that piece of mind. She doesn't have asymmetry, but the back of her head is pretty flat. At the evaluation, we received photos of her head and measurements showing the flatness. Even though this pillow is expensive, we thought it was worth a try to avoid a helmet. I am paranoid about SIDS so wanted something that was breathable. I was skeptical about whether the pillow is breathable, but when we received it, I was pleasantly surprised to find it truly is. It's incredibly breathable. And it's durable. And for that, the pillow gets one star. On the con side, the pillow is so light (because it's so breathable) that my daughter would not keep her head on the pillow. She used it from approximately 4-6 months of age. Every night, her head would slip off the pillow. I would reposition her as much as possible, to no avail. Sometimes she would pick up the pillow and it would end up at the foot of her bassinet. When we used it in her rock 'n play, she would wriggle off it and it would end up on her face. It was just too lightweight to stay in place. When she did stay on the pillow, she looked uncomfortable, as it made her head fall forward a bit. If, and it's a big if, you can get your baby to stay on the pillow, then this pillow may work. After two months, we went back to the helmet place and she had negligible improvement. She is now wearing a helmet. Although I would not recommend this pillow, I fully understand the attraction of paying a lot less for a SIDS-safe pillow than for a helmet. And maybe that in itself is worth the cost to some people. We started using at 3 months when the flat spot (mild) on the back left side of the head was first noticed. The baby had a tendency to look to the left, and rarely to the right. We used this during the day and at night, along with exercises to encourage the baby to look in both directions (as per chiropractor), plenty of tummy time, baby carrier, Bumbo, and exersaucer. Around the 5 month mark our son developed a noticeable flat spot on the back of his head. It was actually more of an angle as he slept with his head turned the same way no matter how many times we placed him down differently. Desperate to try and correct it, I ordered this pillow as it seemed to get great reviews. About 4-6 weeks later his head had rounded out. To be perfectly honest I don't know if it was the pillow, increased amounts of tummy time, his neck starting to support the weight of his head and sitting up more, or just nature taking its course and it naturally correcting itself. He used this pillow for all naps and night sleep. He is not rolling, so we felt comfortable having it in his crib. It's also made of some crazy material that you can dig your face right into and you can still breathe. The physio let us borrow a tortle cap to try but it didn't stay in place. Now at 6.5 mos the flat spot is gone, and with the physio positioning work his torticollis is also much improved. I think this pillow played a big part in the success, once the flat spot develops it was going to be tough to get him to sleep on the other side of his head. At this age they spend so much time on their head in the in crib, I would definitely recommend this pillow if your baby is not rolling yet. If they are they would probably just move off of it in the night. Very well-made, breathable pillow that's contoured to keep the pressure from baby's skull. My only issue is that my son, at 4 months, learned to constantly roll off of it or pull it out from under his head. It was great while it lasted! Je vois des commentaires assez positifs par rapport au coussin, mais je me demande vraiment si les parents sont conscient que leur investissement plus que bénéfique contribuent bien plus que ce coussin. 1-Le prix est tellement exagéré et cette compagnie ce sert de l'ignorance des parents. UPDATE: At 5 months the head shape has no distinct deformity and looks normal. The pillow was used in the crib from 4 months to 5 months only during nap time and night sleep. The baby is beginning to move in the crib more so occasionally the pillow is not under the baby's head when he wakes. We will continue to use the pillow until the baby head size becomes too big for the pillow or until the baby moves around so much it is no longer useful, whichever comes first (most likely the latter). I do not have any plans to purchase the next size up since the baby's head is no longer misshapen and the baby no longer favours a particular direction. I would definitely recommend this pillow for a baby with a similar condition to mine.

Certains sont obnubilés par ce produit sans nécessairement comprendre que le coussin n'est pas à 100% responsable des resultats spectaculaires.
Chaque enfant est différent.
Le crane est très malléable et avec une bonne aide extérieure elle peut reprendre sa forme si les demarches sont amorcées assez tôt, mais encore la il y a des exceptions, car après 6 mois les résultats peuvent aussi être très bon.
2- La texture est désagréable
3- le coussin se positionne tellement mal,donc si votre petite bébé adorent gigoter on oublie ça
4- blablabla la pression est enlevé .. oui peut-être bien.
5- Le prix.. encore lol
Quand je parle à des mères ou des pères je leur demande si ils ont vraiment uniquement utilisé le coussin. Et les réponses sont:
Je le met sur le ventre
J'utilise un cale bébé
J'utilise un petit coussin de temps en temps pour protéger son crâne.
J'évite de le couché trop souvent sur le dos pendant la journée.
Je fais affaire avec un physio.
J'ai retourné se coussin et j'ai retroussé mes manches. J'ai fait énormément d'effort et résultats tout redeviens dans l'ordre.
Je ne regrette pas.
En peu de temps j'ai eu d'excellents resultats grâce aux conseilles judicieux de mon physio.
Des personnes se sont plaints du fait que les personnes responsables du mimos volent des photos de certains profils afin de les afficher sur le site.
Voilà grâce à mimos bébé est correcte.
